Hi, I’m Olga
I’m the photographer behind Milky Studio Photography, an award-winning maternity, newborn and family photographer based in Skåne, Sweden.
With more than 12 years of experience in newborn and family photography, I have photographed more than 1,000 babies and families since beginning my professional journey. My work focuses on newborn photography, maternity portraits, baby milestones and family photography, with a strong emphasis on natural posing, gentle handling and a calm experience for parents and children.
My goal has never been simply to take beautiful photographs. It’s to create timeless artwork that tells your family’s story and becomes more valuable with every passing year.
My love for photography began long before it became my profession.
As a child, I watched my father photograph our family with an old film camera, and I grew up surrounded by photographs that I would return to again and again.
Years later, I realised that those images had quietly shaped the way I see photography today: not simply as beautiful pictures, but as a way of preserving the people and moments we never get back.
Before becoming a full-time photographer, I worked as a graphic designer in television. That creative background continues to influence everything I do, from the way I compose each image to the complimentary highlight video I create for every family after their session, giving them another beautiful way to relive these precious moments.
Before photography became my full-time career, I worked as a graphic designer in television. That experience still influences the way I work today: I pay close attention to composition, colour, visual storytelling and the way a complete image feels rather than simply how a photograph looks on its own.
My family
Today, I’m also a proud mother of three, and becoming a parent has given me an even deeper appreciation for how quickly childhood changes.
It is this perspective that guides every maternity, newborn and family session I photograph.
I understand how quickly babies grow, how precious every stage becomes, and why these memories deserve to be preserved with care.
My journey has taken me far beyond my own studio.
Today, my work has been recognised with multiple international photography awards.
And I have the privilege of serving as a judge for the NewGen International Photography Competition, helping celebrate and evaluate the work of talented photographers from around the world.
As the creator of the NewbornCode Method, a photography education system developed from years of hands-on experience working with newborns I’ve trained more than 800 photographers through workshops and mentoring across Europe.
My heart has always remained with the families I photograph. Every maternity, newborn and family photography session continues to inspire me, helping me grow both as an artist and as an educator.
Awards are wonderful, but what means the most to me is seeing families return with their second baby, then their third, trusting me to preserve every new chapter of their story.
